Project Manager - Platform Development; IC, DSP & eSW

We continue to grow so Widex is looking for an additional experienced Project Manager to join our highly ambitious and cooperative team within Global Research & Development. What we offer 
Located in our CO2 neutral HQ north of Copenhagen you will be overall responsible for Development projects as part of our Platform Development management team reporting directly to the VP. You will be managing and leading a dynamic multi-disciplined team of, embedded software, IC development and signal processing –engineers, creating new functionality for the next generation of hearing aids.  
 
Your first project is an early-stage with significant business impact, and you will take lead in setting new directions for both scope and ways of achieving our goals. We use agile processes and as part of the management team you are also responsible for securing the most efficient processes and ways of working.  
 
Project team management 

• Manage the project participants efficiently, by inspiring, motivating and setting ambitious but realistic goals
• Give relevant feedback to project participants on performance and behavior
• Report people performance and issues to relevant manager
• Ensure that project participants know overall, team and individual goals and status  

 
Cross coordination 

• Ensure cross coordination to other projects, Units and sub-units being involved and delivering to the same overall product launch (e.g. projects in other sub-unit, GMKT, Operations)
• Create and handle an integration plan if appointed to Project Integration Lead (PIL) for a launch 

 
Project management 

• Planning the project including; goal setting, schedule creation, and assigning tasks to teams and individuals
• Ensuring coordination between the different technical areas involved in the project
• Ensure team commitments and follow up on individual level
• Analyzing and managing project and product risks in the development projects
• Ensure project compliance with Widex QMS
• Conducting relevant technical project reviews 
• Ensure project reporting as required
• Ensure involvement of relevant stakeholders in planning, scoping, priorization and decisions  

Technical documentation 

• Generate, delegate and manage technical project documentation as required by Widex Development model and QMS  

You 

• Strong track record delivering projects with HW and/or SW and/or electronics within product development 
• Documented project / program management experience from development projects, preferable from larger, cross-functional and international projects 
• Experience with transforming customer needs into technical viable solutions
• Efficient and result oriented - keep the desired deliveries in focus
• Able to get groups to work together and ensure active involvement, -creating a climate with respect and openness and a strong sense of urgency regarding problem solving and getting work done
• Good political understanding and stake holder management  - must be able to cooperate and build relations and seek dialog
• Strong but listening, and very good at creating fellowship
• Good understanding and experience with cultural differences
• Multisite experience
• Highly analytical and structured mindset
• Strong command of English both orally and written
• Experience in IC Development will be an advantage
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering   
• Documented and certified project manager/program manager (e.g. IPMA, Prince2) as well as relevant training in Agile development (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner) will be an advantage
