The position
You will become part of the Technical Division in the Tunnel Railway (TRW) Department and will be primary responsible for all design, build, testing and commissioning in relation 132/20 kV & 132/25 kV transformers, switchgears, Remote Control System, supervision and its interfaces to other services.

You will be a part of- and contribute in all the Railway Department technical fields.

The focus will be on managing and monitoring the TRW contractors and to ensure all works are carried out in compliance with all relevant requirements / standards including Common Safety Method. In the subject matter you have to drive progress together with our Design Manager, consultants and contractors, ensuring that they are on time and well within their risk frame and relevant authority approvals are in place.

Key tasks
The position as Project Engineer includes both technical knowledge and Coordination skills.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Engaging in interfaces with e.g. civil works and mechanical & electrical works, and stakeholders.
  • Engaging/reviewing contractors design submissions, procedures, schedules, equipment and manuals and ensure project compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Ensure the construction works are based on the design
  • Verfication and validation
  • Support/coordination/structure of documentation e.g. for handover, O&M, design, as built etc.
  • Value engineering, change management, project risk assessment and reporting.

Your profile
You have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and minimum 5 years of job experience in engineering, design, construction of railway Power Supply systems with either contractors or consultants. You have a proven track record of successfully handling and delivering the specified systems.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Technical knowledge and experience with emphasis on Power Supply Systems and railway works
  • Working experience on large scale infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of local (Danish), European norms and standards
  • Able to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

It is important that you are well formulated in writing and orally, as good communication skills will be essential. The review and communication will mainly be in English.
