As Production Manager you will have a central role to play in the operations of the Avedøre site. You will have the responsibility for the production team consisting of 2 Team Managers and a total of 24 FTE’s running 24/5.
The PM’s key areas of responsibility
As Production Manager you will be part of the site management team consisting of QA manager, QC-manager, Maintenance/Safety Manager and Operations Manager. It will your responsibility to secure that we maintain a safe working environment for all our employees. Furthermore you will be responsible for the production management including:
- On time delivery
- Adherence to production schedule
- Cost within agreed budget
- Continuous development of processes and employees
- Securing that all GMP/procedures/SOP’s/ are followed
- Through our Lean system inspire your organization so they contribute to the improvement of the working environment and systems and Capacity optimization / Yield improvements
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you need to have relevant experience preferably from the food industry and a background as production engineer or similar. Additionally you have to have experience with - and understanding of GMP, quality standards, HACCP etc.
It is vital that you have good management skills and that you are familiar with situational leadership, lean and a mind-set for continuous improvements. Furthermore you are a manager who possesses a high energy level and you are comfortable in a (sometimes) hectic environment. Finally you take pride in delivering what is expected of you and sometimes you can also go the extra mile to get even better results.
