We are looking for a new colleague for our Process Management department at our state of the art culture plant in Avedøre near Copenhagen, you need to have a strong insight in food production and the motivation for daily production follow up and shop floor.

Process Management is a department with 10 ambitious and dedicated employees with academic and technical backgrounds. We deliver technical support to our four internal production units as well as a number of external subcontractors. Some of the responsibilities includes driving, facilitating and supporting activities within product quality, production cost and delivery reliability. The job
Our daily work covers a wide range of production support activities such as production follow up, shop floor, development of production recipes, handling of qulity related deviation, process design, optimization, process ownership within investment projects, troubleshooting, process control and validation.

Your tasks will among others include:

  • Daily follow up to insure a robust production, secure quality, drive process optimization and systematic trouble shooting, as well as implementation and validation of new products, processes and equipment.
  • Ownership of processes and environment within the entire value chain from fermentation, blending and packaging.
  • Participation in and driver of small improvement projects
  • Manage and coordinate deviation tasks related product quality issues
  • Close cooperation with our main stakeholder; Production, QC, QA, and Planning

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate has a relevant academic education, e.g. dairy-, chemical engineer, pharmacist, MSc. in Food Science and Technology or the like. You have experience working in a GMP regulated environment, including qualifications and validations.

Further, you have:

  • Good knowledge of and interest in production operations is mandatory including production hygiene, microbiology and environmental monitoring
  • Experience with LEAN tools including systematic problem solving, and root cause analysis
  • Personal drive towards continuously improvements and shop floor
  • You are a pragmatic team player, with good communication skills and have the ability for making rational evaluations based on data
  • Excellent English skills, written as well as spoken
