In Offshore engineering Tower department we are in need of a new Product specialist, responsible for implementation & maintenance of the Davit Cranes. Providing input to our technology roadmap and supporting the implementation of future technology within this area. Responsible for implementation of customer specific requirements in Sales & Execution projects. The project is based in Vejle, Denmark, and Hamburg, Germany. We welcome candidates in either of these locations.

How to contribute to our vision
As product specialist you are highly experienced within one or more technical areas. You will have the ownership for technical specifications and supporting across projects, new development in R&D, customer projects from early sales till commissioning, supporting our procurement, suppliers & service teams.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Technical responsible for Davit Cranes.
  • Single point of contact for within the Davit Cranes area.
  • Support technical sales teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Overall quality responsibility within the technical area, tracking downtime and errors on Davit Cranes, etc.
  • Handle service cases though technical support to service teams and sites.
  • Second source activities as a member of our Procurement commodity team.
  • Create specification and work instructions within the Davit crane area.

What you need to make a difference

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, project management or similar combined with relevant experience, preferably combined with +5 years of relevant experience within the world of cranes. You have a strong technical background; and you are familiar with engineering disciplines associated with mechanical designs. It feels natural for you to take the lead in complex tasks with many stakeholders.
