Product Safety Compliance Specialist

The job 
As a Product Safety Compliance Specialist, you will become a key part of our highly skilled and motivated compliance team in Global Legal & Compliance.Each member has their own area of responsibility with the importance of communicating and coordinating across the organisation. We cover among other things both Product Safey Compliance, Chemical Compliance, Process Compliance, Policy Management, GDPR, Export Contorl, Business Ethics and Information Security Compliance.

In order to ensure product safety compliance, you will be responsible for monitoring relevant legislation, training in and monitoring of global regulations and standards related to electronics and mechanics. Furthermore, contact with necessary authorities and test labs will also be part of your job.

The global FOSS organization will rely on your regulatory guidance and expertise, in close cooperation with our innovative R&D efforts, as well as our Production and Service areas.

Primary task

• Manage compliance programs in the organisation (E.g. CE marking)
• Assess, advice and train important stakeholders within product safety
• Develop and oversee monitoring and control systems to prevent and handle violations of external regulations and internal policies
• Keep up to date on relevant regulations and update procedures, reports etc. accordingly and inform stakeholders to prevent risks

Qualifications
Preferably you hold a Bachelor or Master of electronic engineering or similar, or haveat least 5 years of product safety experience (e.g. LVD, EMC, MD, ATEX). It is an advantage if you have worked with standards related to the safety requirements for electrical equipment.

You are expected to be a confident and self-driven individual with passion to learn and develop within the understanding of the Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive and EMC and general compliance. The role is challenging and diverse with many opportunities to develop and grow. However, the ideal candidate will get the opportunity to either develop into a specialist role within product safety compliance or enhance their current expertise and expand knowledge and skills to other relevant adjacent compliance areas. Furthermore, you speak and write English fluently.
