The job

You will have two primary areas of responsibility:

Product Manager for FossCalibrator™. FossCalibrator™ is a software tool that enables FOSS customers to develop bespoke prediction models (analytics packages) to their FOSS instruments to optimise accuracy and profitability. These analytics packages (bespoke or global) are core to leverage the full benefits of FOSS’ advanced instruments and are based on large numbers .

Drive the standardization and roll-out of FOSS’ global analytics packages, packages that ensures optimal and dedicated performance of FOSS instruments. This also includes driving the standardization of support, documentation as well as performance follow-up.  

This is your opportunity to jump straight into an exciting adventure as you get to join our Product Management team of 40 persons, based in both Hillerød, Denmark and Suzhou, China. Being part of the teams working behind the scenes, we make sure our global Service organisation is trained and supported as the customer is central to everything we do at FOSS. You will report directly to the VP, Product Management.

Primary task

You will be responsible for the performance of FossCalibrator, including maintenance performance follow-up as well as planning for the next generation product. Directly related to this will also be training and supporting our global Service organisation so they can best serve our customers with FossCalibrator.

Analytics packages plays a key role for FOSS as well as our customers. We aspire to leverage this advantage even more, and you will play a key role in creating alignment across the organisation and how to optimally scale the further roll-out of these.

Your success will me measured on how well you drive the performance and further development of FossCalibrator, your ability to enable further growth and development for FOSS’ analytics packages and not least your capability to be a team player.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in the role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • A technical background, Msc level in food science, engineering, chemistry, pharmaceutical or life science. Chemometrician background would be ideal
  • Solid understanding of PLS and ANN methods
  • Relevant experience from the food science or agricultural industries in a global company
  • Strong business acumen and experience in working cross-functionally in a complex organization

Since FOSS is a global organization, and business language is English, it is  a prerequisite that you are fluent in both written and spoken English. Speaking Danish is – on the other hand – not required.
