Xena’s core product line is selling exceptional well and is now used by many global network equipment manufactures and semiconductor companies.To further develop and strengthen the organisation Xena is looking for a dedicated and motivated Product Manager to take responsibility for its core product line.

This is a unique opportunity for making a critical difference to the growth of Xena and will provide the successful candidate with an exciting and challenging position. You will both master the product vision and understand the detailed customer requirements, and you will prioritize the roadmap and drive its execution.

This is a hands-on position working in a fast-paced Ethernet technology company, where you will work closely with some of the world’s largest tech companies. Your responsibilities and primary tasks:

• Use market research, customer and competitor insights, partners and end user feedback to understand our customers’ requirements and align them to our business goals and resources
• Work with members of the product management, sales and engineering teams, to build and execute the roadmap as it relates to our core product line (Valkyrie)
• Identify and manage new feature requirements, use cases and product extensions
• Create sales enablement materials and support sales in key customer meetings
• Stay abreast of industry advances in Ethernet technologies
• Be a Xena ambassador

You will be a driving force in working across the entire organisation and with our key customers, where you play an essential role in ensuring that our products reach their full potential. You will report to VP of Product Management.

Your qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of networking, the ability to creatively innovate an eagerness to take responsibility and learn new skills and a passion for developing world class products. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced agile organisation and contribute to an exciting, fun, team-oriented environment.

There can be different backgrounds for this position. It is important that you have a technical background and a strong interest in working with the latest networking technologies. You can have an engineering degree combined with experience working as a Product Manager, - or you might have experience working in a customer support function within the electronic industry and possess a genuine motivation to become a Product Manager. Knowledge of Ethernet standards, as well as familiarity with associated protocols is an advantage.
