Product Analyst

We at Saxo Bank are looking for a Product Analyst with previous knowledge on Saxo Bank’s offering to join our Products team.

We are a team of 12 that is accountable for the full post-execution operational life-cycle process of a product through Group Operations' processing functions. We are also responsible for maintaining the post-execution product strategies within Group Operations. Furthermore, we own the message transformer on behalf of Group Operations (interim SWIFT owner) and will provide significant input in the Bank's aspirations for future state operational processing.

Group Operations sits at the core of Saxo Bank, consist of approximately 280 professionals and operates out of 9 locations around the world. For every trade a client executes, for every new client on-boarded, for each launch of a new product, for each new market entered into, for each new financial intermediary introduced, for each regulatory change, Group Operations is involved to support the business.Group Operations facilitates trading in more than 50 thousand financial instruments across more than 40 currencies and 40 markets daily to more than 90 thousand clients sitting in more than 150 different countries. Group Operations works to protect the accuracy and efficiency at each step of the process.

The Job
A Product Analyst is responsible for a specific product (based on the nine product categories Saxo identifies plus cash) and works in partnership with the business owners, operational function owners and Business Development Department to ensure that Operations can fully and effectively support the post-execution processing of such product.

Specifically, a Product Analyst will be responsible for:

• A product class
• Life cycle process map with respect to that product
• Providing updates and performance metrics with respect to that product for the wider Operations and Bank audience
• Process improvement identification (and to the extent possible solution delivery) based on, for example, breaks, near misses, technology advancements, Lean Six Sigma exercises and personnel feedback for the product)
• Developing, validating and updating the per unit cost for processing such product within operations
• Delivering small scale Operations led projects in that product
• Being single point of contact within Operations for Business Development team projects for that product. Acting as SME and Operations sign off for the project.

Your Profile

• Diligent and have a strong sense of ownership
• Good at handling stakeholders and in prioritizing your tasks

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Strong product knowledge of at least two of Saxo Bank's nine core product offerings
• Understanding of wider operations functions: finance and tax, risk (particularly operational), legal, compliance, regulations, IT, audit
• Knowledge of MIS (both producing and interpreting), process mapping, policy and procedure writing and implementation, cost analysis
• Experience in operations, andchange management (both delivering and receiving)
• Good project management skills
• Understanding of IT, especially offuture technologies and their practical application within Operations
• Skillset: Influencing, leadership, visionary, lateral thought process, partnering and relationship building, stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and challenging mind-set combined with an ability to effectively convey this through verbal or written communication
