Would you like to have a high impact on the Sourcing Processes in Ambu? Do you have a strong analytical and process-oriented mind? In the role as Procurement Process Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for several critical points of process excellence, data analytics and compliance.

You will take charge of developing and maintaining procurement policies and processes including how to potentially digitize relevant procurement processes. By this specialist process insight, you will support our procurement documentation compliance as well as act as Global Procurement’s audit lead. Additionally, you will support the Global Procurement Team by data analytics including maintaining and continuously improving our spend cube and dashboards.

As a start, this is a specialist role, however, the area of responsibility has potential for development and expansion and hence the role offers exiting possibilities for personal and professional development including the potential for the role to develop into a leadership role.

Within the Global Procurement team, you will enjoy support from colleagues across Denmark, Malaysia, China, USA who possess extensive experience in procurement and sourcing. Additionally, you will have strong exposure to highly qualified stakeholders across many functions (e.g. QA/RA, Finance, IT).

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve end to end procurement policies and processes considering regulatory requirements, ESG requirements and compliance etc.
  • Assure documentation compliance, support NCRs and CAPAs and act as Global Procurement’s audit lead
  • Identify key procurement process challenges to be solved through digitalization (e.g. P2P and other procurement applications and systems) and develop the overall procurement digitalization strategy and roadmap
  • Lead change management and adoption of the new tools, policies and processes across the procurement function and stakeholders
  • Develop, implement and maintain Data analytics, Spend Cube, Dashboards, Market Intel

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience in the end-to-end procurement processes of large-scale organizations
  • Proven record of successfully driving process improvement and digital transformation programs in large procurement organizations
  • Strong analytical capabilities, flair for numbers and ability to communicate results and metrics by dashboards
  • Strong track record in driving procurement improvements and processes, being strategic but also hands-on in execution
  • Excellent stakeholder manager at all levels of the business with a track record engaging and influencing local stakeholders for change
  • Minimum 5 years in procurement operations heading corresponding area of responsibility
  • Experience with implementation projects and change management in a large-scale organization
  • Knowledge of P2P and ERP operations
