Process Excellence Lead, Global Planning & Optimization, Bagsværd, Denmark
Do you want to help Global Planning & Optimization craft its strategic direction, become ever more efficient, and increase tact in our execution? Then come join us as the Process Excellence Lead.
 
Global Planning & Optimization (GPO) is a global team that focus on ensuring that Novozymes successfully supply our customers today and in the future. We lead cross functional capacity planning and decision making processes, and work closely with our pipeline of new and existing products. We work with many stakeholders across commercial, operational and development functions. We often face complex issues, and therefore there is a need for being proactive and creative in this role.
 
As the Process Excellence Lead you will function as an essential facilitator within the GPO management team, take lead on selected key initiatives and provide strategic support to the VP of GPO. In general, your role will be centered around 4 elements; driving organizational efficiency within GPO, help drive and operationalize our strategic intentions, take lead on specific projects, and deliver executive assistance to the VP of GPO.
 
The role represents a solid development opportunity as it will ensure exposure to key business processes, provide hands-on opportunities within process optimization incl. Lean, make strategic intentions come to life, and in all this you will work closely with an experienced management team. Furthermore, the role demands a very strong learning agility, interpersonal skills, and an affinity for being precise, structured and organized.

In this position you need to have:  

  • A technical Master’s degree, and 3+ years of relevant working experience
  • An exceptional ability to digest complex matters fast and make them simple
  • The capability to create positive results across relationships and organizational structures, and be comfortable with manoeuvring in this kind of role
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to put academics into structure
  • Experience of some sort with process excellence, and Lean is an advantage
  • The ability to work effortlessly in both written and spoken English
