You will be part of a dynamic Blade Surface Treatment team composed of dedicated engineers and technical writers all having the joint interest in surface protection, adhesion technologies as well as aerodynamic optimization of wind turbine blades. We help each other and focus on a healthy work environment. Having the same interests and values you are a potential candidate for the open position in Aalborg, Northern Denmark.

How to contribute to our vision
In the Blade Surface Treatment team, we excel in protecting wind turbine blades. We are now looking for a Process Engineer within Surface treatment covering application processes of coating and new feature adhesion processes for e.g. Leading Edge Protection and Add-ons. This ensures a long lifetime of our wind turbine blades and you help protecting what matters.

As a Process Engineer daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and improve final assembly and new feature processes for new projects, plants and blades
  • Develop documentation for the production processes (work instructions, P-FMEA and risk assessments)
  • Implement processes at production plants, conducting feasibility studies, testing new processes in small laboratory scale to full production scale, and documentation hereof

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • You have an engineering degree in e.g. chemistry, material science or similar, or have experience from a similar position
  • 3+ years of experience is plus, but not a requirement.
  • You have knowledge in at least one of paint, adhesive and/or materials technologies.
  • You are familiar with risk assessment and FMEA
  • You are fluent in English, both orally and written.
  • It is a plus if you have experience with MATLAB and/or Python
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office

As you will enter a very dynamic team, we are looking for an individual with a flexible mindset, who can handle simultaneous assignments in a fast-paced environment.

You have a hands-on approach to problems, you are solution-oriented, and are great at structuring and documenting your work.

Most importantly, you care of your colleague’s well-being, and you are a great team-player.

You can expect 20 travel days a year.
