Praktik (Bygningskonstruktør)
As an intern with COWI, you will be part of an interdisciplinary co-operation between our building renovation section and our sustainability section.
Do you want to be completely familiar with the angle of your education in a global engineering company? Do you want to step into the many disciplines of the trade? We are always looking for the most skilled interns within Architectural Technology and Construction Management. As one of Denmark’s largest engineering companies, we are setting the trends within the industry, and by virtue of our sustainable strategy “future now”, we are involved in pushing the industry in the direction of a more sustainable approach to the construction trade.Our work spans from giant renovation projects to new construction with circular measures, certification work with various solutions, environmental work, and work with analytical tools, e.g., LCAbyg. We handle the tasks from the very beginning until the project is complete. Spanning a wide variety of tasks, our projects contain, e.g., office domiciles, high-rise buildings, subsidised housing projects, waterworks, waste recycling stations, industry, etc.
A job that will take your development further
As an intern with COWI, you will be part of an interdisciplinary co-operation between our building renovation section and our sustainability section. You will co-operate with experienced engineers and construction engineers, and you will participate in solving a wide range of vocational relevant tasks which play a part in promoting sustainable building in the entire industry. During your internship, you will be involved in projects related to:
- Sustainable buildings
- Renovation work
- Client consultancy
- Circular construction (recycling/reuse)

Together we will find what it takes to give you the ballast you need from your internship and combine tasks which make sense to you – and us. We believe that it requires interest to excel at a topic, and this will only happen if you are enthusiastic about your work. We offer a job where you will have the opportunity of diving into the engine room and participate in shaping our working procedures, e.g., within circular construction. On other jobs, you will get the chance to work with our well-defined paradigms and templates. We expect that you have knowledge of:
- Molio tools
- LCAbyg
- LCC
- E.g., certification schemes for construction.
Of course, we do not expect that you are an expert in the above. As long as you have an interest in these topics, the rest will follow.
