PLC/SCADA Engineer
Are you passionate about working with PLC and SCADA-systems and do you want to play a crucial role in ensuring that our PLC and SCADA systems are stable and meet the applicable requirements? Then you may be our new colleague in our automation team in Insulin Manufacturing-1 (IM1), the world's largest high-tech insulin factory.
About the team and the Department
The automation team consists of 15 skilled and committed employees and is part of the Business Support department with a total of 115 employees. The automation team operate, maintain and optimize the IT/automation systems in IM1 to meet both production needs and compliance requirements.
The job
You will work with our PLC and SCADA systems and the associated equipment and interfaces.
In close collaboration with skilled colleagues you shall ensure compliance with the requirements, optimal function and maintenance of the systems.
You will drive your own small automation projects as well as being project participant in major cross-functional projects, where you will act as technical specialist and responsible for the PLC and SCADA area.
In addition to this, support and problem solving will be an important part of your daily work.
Qualifications
You have a relevant academic education or similar background with hands-on experience within PLC, SCADA, automatic systems and preferably with experience with Siemens-PLC and IFIX-SCADA.
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry, including the associated documentation and compliance requirements, will be an advantage.
As person, you have a structured and analytical approach to challenges as well as a strong quality mindset.
You like to work in an atmosphere where great responsibility and widespread trust goes hand in hand. Discipline within planning, task execution and documentation of your work comes naturally to you.
You are good in collaborating both across and at different organizational levels. You thrive well in a position that includes both small daily support tasks and more complex and time-consuming tasks.
