The position
In this newly established position, your focus will be to build up and lead a team of highly skilled people, and to create a sustainable working environment to support projects and production.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a diverse and inclusive team of IT & Automation talents
  • Develop and coach employees
  • Support implementation of people related initiatives
  • Establish a broad network of IT/Automation stakeholders, to provide innovation and identify future needs
  • Collaboration with universities to attract the best people

The team will participate in various IT-related tasks related to ongoing projects, optimization of our production, compliance, and strategic initiatives.  

As the team is new, it will be important, that you set the direction and create structure. Training and coaching will be an important part of the start-up face, while technical understanding and a LEAN mindset will be important for the daily operation. As a team leader, you are part of the management team in DAPI IT, and will at the same time work closely with the other team leaders in the production.

Qualifications
Preferably you hold a master’s degree within IT/Automation and a minimum of two years of people management experience.

You are driven by the purpose of attracting young and innovative talent to our employee pool and build on their experience over time. 

As a person, you are clear and authentic in your leadership. You thrive on building relations, motivate and creating empowerment among people.

You have a natural interest in technology, a can-do mindset and focus on opportunities rather than limitations. You speak and write Danish and English at a professional level. Finally, you are eager to see things moving forward in a dynamic environment where projects and processes vary, demanding the need for your flexibility.

About the department
Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (DAPI), located in Kalundborg, produces insulin and GLP1 for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. You will be part of a central IT/Automation department in DAPI. The department has the responsibility for driving DAPI’s automation Strategy, driving cross site IT projects and hosting cross site IT applications.
