Passionate Intern within New Product Introduction at Novo Nordisk

The position
As our intern you will be handling tasks within formulation development and documentation, technology development, filling and project work according to the allocations in the team and the individual work-related goals. You will be responsible for activities within the departments quality systems (QMS) and fulfilling the rules determined in the administrative procedures covering employees, working environment and budgets. Furthermore, we expect your key responsibilities to be:
Completing and reporting the work on formulation screening, formulation optimisation & filling in connection with development projects
Completing development documentation according to current guidelines regarding the development projects e.g. batch validation reports.
Conducting the work in accordance with the department goals, regarding speed, quality and productivity.
Practicalities
- You need to be enrolled as a student at a university, studying your Bachelor or Masters degree
- The internship period is a full-time position for 6 months
- Working hours is 37 per week
- Ideally, the start date will be Marts 2021, but sooner is also a possibility
- A Danish full-time work permit is required
Qualifications
You are currently studying your bachelor’s– or master’s degree within pharmaceutical sciences (e.g. Chemistry, biochemistry) or other relevant scientific disciplines. We expect candidates to thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. It is an advantage if you have knowledge working with a filling machine.
We are looking for a person who has a high level of independence, god analytical skills, flexible and a great ability to prioritize tasks. You are service-minded, well organized, pro-active and responsible with the ability to follow through on tasks.
You speak and write English fluently.
We expect you to have strong drive and courage to contribute with ideas for change and improvement.
About the department
New Product introduction (NPI), is a part of Diabetes Finished Products, Manufacturing Development, and consists of approximately 45 employees divided between 3 teams located in Bagsværd, DK.
The main responsibility of NPI is the transition of development products into large scale production, this includes production design, material and process sciences, product stability and coordination of production for late-phase clinical trials.
