Passionate C# developer

For our client Apoteka we are looking for a clever C# developer who finds this opportunity very exciting, developing a very meaningful software platform which makes life easier for sick people. Apoteka believes that everyone should have access to affordable high-quality healthcare. They build software solutions to fulfil this mission, among others the first Danish online pharmacy Apopro Online Apotek - you might have seen TV commercials, recently published on the Danish TV2. 

Apart from the Apopro project, the team is also developing other medicine management solutions to e.g. the public sector. 

Your will be part of an enthusiastic development team working with agile development principles, bi-weekly releases and with an intense focus on quality. Your tasks will be to develop mainly backend and data integration services. This includes building features from prescription to ordering online in the e-commerce system, operations management system to delivery of the medicine, and integrations to third part systems etc. You will be working with .NET, MVC, Umbraco and a series of other systems and applications.  

At Apoteka they are busy fulfilling the market and their customers’ needs and improving the technical platform - so you will have plenty of exciting tasks to do. It is also important to emphasize that you can really learn a lot from your skilled and experienced colleagues. 

Your skills 
We expect that you have as a minimum a Bachelor in software development. You have experience in web development using C#/.NET, either a few years of experience from a web development company or from a relevant student job.  

As a person, you are eager to learn new technologies, frameworks etc. and have a passion for backend software development. You value quality and would be able to take responsibility for building software from scratch. 

You are fluent in Danish and/or English.  

About the company 
Apoteka is in constant growth and are now over 15 employees. Apart from the development department, you will meet pharmacists, marketing and management people as well as supply chain operators. The atmosphere in the office is very friendly and humour plays a big role, but it is also an intense group where everyone is expected to deliver their best every day. Quality focus permeates the culture and the way the company works with comprehensive testing and quality control procedures.  

The company is situated in Greve, just south of Copenhagen and only two minutes from the motorway exit.
