About the job
During the last year, Trendsales has focused on creating a more self-service-centered BI environment. The backbone of this is based on Amazon Redshift as well as Sisense. With your interest in data, we need your help to continue the journey. 

As a student in the BI team, you will get hands-on experience with data from collection to analysis. You will assist our current Data Analyst in the effort to make the business more data-driven, by developing and maintaining our current data model and BI environment. We expect you to be able to work 15-20 hours a week, but are flexible on when and where you work.

Together with the team led by our CFO, you will determine the future of Trendsales’ analytics effort, and help develop the path towards that future.

Tasks will mainly include:

  • Validation and transformation of data
  • Modelling of data in Data Warehouse

But will also include:

  • Development of self-service BI and dashboards for the Business users
  • Aiding in developing the business towards a more data-driven approach

Who are you?
First and foremost you are interested in working with data! 
You have finished the 1st year of your education, with at least 2 years to go before graduating
Your study provides you with competencies for working with data
You have a sound understanding of data
You have an analytical approach to problem-solving
Knowledge of SQL or Python is an advantage
