How to contribute to our vision
Mold Design is looking for a skilled design engineer to develop the wind turbine blade molds for the future.
Mold design is a department consisting of about 17 engineers. We design blade molds, and other equipment needed to produce a wind turbine blade. We use the 3D program Siemens NX, and the PLM software Teamcenter to store the documentation.
Mold Design department is located where most of the blade molds also are produced. This gives a unique opportunity for the designers to follow the design just outside the office.
In Mold design we are facing a lot of new projects, therefore we need one more design engineer to help designing the molds.
The person we are looking for is a mechanical engineer. The candidate must be able to design steel and composite constructions together with the rest of the team. The mold is designed with thermal water-based heating system. Knowledge regarding piping modules in 3D cad system will be an advantage.
Education background is mechanical engineer, or another education appropriate for this job description.

Competences needed for this position:
- Be able to make 3D and 2D drawings of mechanical constructions.
- Deep knowledge for mechanical constructions of steel and composites.
- Knowledge regarding thermal design including piping modules in 3D cad.
- Be able to communicate with other people to align expectations to the job.
- It will be an advantage if you have a good understanding of analytical structural calculation.
- Outgoing attitude is appreciated
- English is the company language
Software:
- Siemens NX for 3D and 2D drawings
- PLM system TeamCenter to store documentation
- Office 365 (Word, excel)
- Ansys, MathCad and MathLab for calculations
- AutoCad knowledge is an advantaged
