Join Jabra and GN – transforming lives through the power of sound

When it comes to audio, Jabra is one of the most recognizable brands in the world. As a part of GN, we share the aim to make life sound better for millions of people. Through our audio and video conferencing solutions, we truly work for the cause at Jabra.

Specifically, you will be joining Operations Project Management, a team of 8 operations project managers located in Ballerup and China. Together, we coordinate Global Operations deliverables in our development projects.

Project manager with a wide internal and external network

As our new operations project manager, your main responsibilities are to represent Global Operations in New Product Development (NPD) projects. Typically, you will work on 1-2 projects simultaneously, depending on size and complexity, usually lasting 1-2 years each.

You will be working closely with our external suppliers, our internal industrialization team in R&D and Sourcing as well as internal key stakeholders in Global Operations. Specific tasks include:

  • Ensuring that ramp-up plans are in place for meeting the demand for product launch and mass production

  • Tracking capacity allocation at suppliers and creating scalability plans of the production as well as tracking production readiness throughout the whole supply chain

  • Providing cost breakdowns as well as reporting on cost breakdown development during the projects – and escalating the issue if cost does not meet the agreed target

  • Mapping risk and ensuring risk mitigation plans covering product cost, ramp-up plans, supply issues, supplier involvement, quality, etc.

  • Ensure that all Global Operations activities are engaged in projects during our NPD process and facilitate project meetings to ensure that key stake holders in Global Operations are working in the same direction

You should expect to travel 15-20 days per year to visit our manufacturing partners mainly in Asia and interact with your colleagues in China (Shenzhen and Xiamen).

“This is a pretty unique chance to work directly with some of the biggest manufacturing partners within consumer electronics on a global scale,” says Manager, Operations Project Management, Mogens Marquard.

Skilled stakeholder manager with a both holistic and detailed mindset

As an excellent collaborator, you effortlessly navigate across an international and very diverse organization. You communicate well with everybody at all professional levels, so that all stakeholders – both internally and externally – are nurtured. Working in a very agile environment, you thrive when no two days are alike, and you are motivated by days and plans not set in stone.

Lastly, you have the ability to move your perspective from the holistic view to the commercial needs and down to the small detail – and back up again.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have an engineering background within mechanics, electronics, manufacturing or similar

  • Probably have project management experience from designing, manufacturing or sourcing of audio and video products/components

  • Have a solid commercial understanding from a position in sourcing of technical component/products

  • Have the ability and motivation in understanding the cost driver for a product

  • Can speak and write English effortlessly
