You will be working closely with our external suppliers, our internal industrialization team in R&D and Sourcing as well as internal key stakeholders in Global Operations. Specific tasks include:
Ensuring that ramp-up plans are in place for meeting the demand for product launch and mass production
Tracking capacity allocation at suppliers and creating scalability plans of the production as well as tracking production readiness throughout the whole supply chain
Providing cost breakdowns as well as reporting on cost breakdown development during the projects – and escalating the issue if cost does not meet the agreed target
Mapping risk and ensuring risk mitigation plans covering product cost, ramp-up plans, supply issues, supplier involvement, quality, etc.
Ensure that all Global Operations activities are engaged in projects during our NPD process and facilitate project meetings to ensure that key stake holders in Global Operations are working in the same direction
You should expect to travel 15-20 days per year to visit our manufacturing partners mainly in Asia and interact with your colleagues in China (Shenzhen and Xiamen).
