Designing the future
As a Mechanical Engineer at Universal Robots, you will be part of a high-performance development team designing the future products in the market

Technology is moving fast, and UR wants to be at the forefront pushing the limits and exciding our customers’ expectations. Therefore, we expect you to master design skills in electro-mechanical constructions and understand the backbone in operating a CAD-system.

Passion and perfection
We are searching for a mechanical engineer, who has a passion for understanding and supporting the backbone of our CAD systems and masters the interaction with PLM and ERP systems

As an operational super user, you will be part of a mechanical R&D design team designing electro-mechanical parts. At the same time, you will be a go-to super user supporting your team to an effective and structured usage of our CAD system

You feel energized when piloting new CAD/Backbone initiatives, troubleshooting the system, guiding for structure and building the needed instruction material – all done to perfectio

You feel good about working in a vibrant environment challenging your professional skills.

We aim to find the candidate, who:

  • Is BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering
  • Has a background in SolidWorks, PDM and Siemens Teamcenter
  • Has experience in building a robust structure e.g. in BoM, 2D and other shared material

As a person, you are:

  • Result-orientated and a self-starter with focus on quality
  • Independent, but still a team player
  • Motivated by solving complex tasks
  • Practical and act accordingly
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

We expect you to be flexible and a fast-learner as our set-up is continuously evolving. You are excited about development and results, and you have an analytical approach to your work. You are structured and know how to work independently as well as part of a team. You thrive in a busy working environment and like solving complex tasks.
