Green Hydrogen Systems A/S (GHS) is ready to take a position as one of the world’s leaders in developing and producing electrolysis plants that use electricity from renewable energy and water to produce green hydrogen. The GHS modular solutions will help accelerate the market for hydrogen plants to ensure optimal utilization of renewable energy.

As the demand for green energy forms is growing globally, a new hydrogen ecosystem is forming and the demand for electrolyser capacity is expected to surge in the coming decade. The Role
You will be NPI Project Manager for GHS A or X-series product development projects, both full scale, new development projects and mark upgrades. Your responsibilities will include managing, planning, and executing all activities and deliverables within Operations & Supply Chain, as part of a new product development or mark upgrade project. You will also be the Operations & Supply Chain representative in product development and mark upgrade project management team, reporting indirectly to the project Senior Project Manager.

As our new NPI Project Manager you will manage one or more GHS projects, and some of the main tasks you will be undertaking include:

  • New product introduction covering prototype build, beta build and ramp-up to serial production
  • Mark upgrade covering prototype build/validation and ramp-up into serial production
  • Cost out projects

Specific deliverables cover:

  • Planning, staffing, and executing on prototype and beta builds
  • Production technology deliverables on tools, fixtures and production line design and implementation elements
  • Quality assurance deliverables covering P-FMEA, part approval, control plan and test deliverables
  • Ensuring Sourcing project deliverables covering supplier selection, contracting and part approval, as well as operational buying for builds
  • Design for manufacturing, design for quality and design to cost deliverables

Project management tasks:

  • Project scoping and scope management
  • Project detailed planning and follow up: cost, timelines, deliverables resources and quality
  • Manage and motivate team members from all functional areas
  • Integrate with overall Project Management Team
  • Project risk analysis and risk management
  • Develop and maintain project cost management
  • Integrate with key stakeholders across GHS
  • Align with SCM & OPS management team on specific strategy and deliverables within the managed projects
  • Project progress & risk reporting to the overall project
  • Project Scope Management

To succeed in this role
You need to ensure that projects are launched as planned with on-time delivery of prototypes, beta and ramp-up of according to the overall project plan. You will also ensure that products are launched at objectives; Capex, Opex, scope and time, and that required supply chain, quality and factory implementation is on time and delivers as planned on all key metrics; Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory & Productivity.

Your profile
You are result-driven with a holistic approach that incorporates the entire value chain. You’ll need the ability to identify and quickly solve problems, along with high personal drive to ensure fast pace and progress according to plans. You have good leadership and coordination skills to deliver results, must also have the right mindset and be willing to try new things and embrace change.

Who are you?

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree within Engineering or similar
  • PRINCE2, IPMA or PMP certified project manager
  • Project manager experience, preferably within an industrial company
  • Experience with new product development or new product introduction, from either Product development, Operations or Supply chain side
  • Experience production/assembly line implementation projects
  • Experience working with New Product Development processes
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement & finance
  • Good leadership skills - visible leadership
  • Understand the dynamics of a matrix org with line and project responsibilities
  • Good analytical skills, good at cross functional collaboration & stakeholder management
  • Strong intra-personal skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Master MS-office in particular MS projects
