Join us to help deliver software solutions to complex systems and products in our global manufacturing organization.

Our software makes life sound better
At GN Hearing, you will be part of a software team of 5 software developers delivering software solutions to the global manufacturing organization – e.g. solutions that enable quality testing of our complex products that transform lives through the power of sound.

In the software team we work fully agile. Every 12th week we conduct our Program Increment planning as part of our IP sprint, and then we develop and deliver features in 2-week sprints. Most importantly, we

work together to get the work done – even when changes happen last minute.

“Employee satisfaction is high. Many of my colleagues as well as myself is a testament to that as a lot of us have been here for several years. There is just this special atmosphere, an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of community that you don’t come across every day,” says Head of Advanced Production Tools, Lars Jensen.

Develop software from A-Z
You will be involved in all parts of the software development process from start to finish, taking ownership of and responsibility for your own tasks and deliveries.

Your typical day starts with a Scrum meeting where we help each other to move forward. While you will have your own tasks to work on, we do enjoy using each other as sounding boards to create the best code.

As software developer you will work closely with our product owner to ensure we deliver value, and you will engage with our architect to make sure your feature is aligned to the architectural runway – in short you will be in good hands, and you can put your trust in the fact that we work according to best agile practices.

“You’ll have a steep learning curve, getting to know our products and processes. We work with a complex system and the latest technology, so you’ll have no problem developing your skills along the way,” explains Lars.

A team player with software engineering experience
We value having a colleague who puts the team first. Thus, you are outgoing and thrive in a team setup where you contribute constructively to our development and share your successes so we can learn from each other. Moreover, you are analytical and like to get to the root cause of things to ensure we work smarter and deliver the best software. We imagine that you have:

  • Solid experience in Visual Studio, C# and .NET or .NET Core
  • Experience working with Microservices
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • A flair for continuously acquiring new knowledge on tools and practices
  • Great communication skills in English

We will consider it an extra plus if you have experience from working within a regulated industry such as medical devices and / or if you have strong knowledge about hardware and the interfaces between hardware and software. The same goes for experience with SQL Server, Azure cloud technologies, Azure DevOps, and Continuous Integration. Finally, it is also an advantage if you have experience working very closely with manufacturing and / or in working with agile development methodologies.
