Are you up for the challenge?

We are currently looking for an experienced Mooring Engineer to join our loads team working with integrated design and aero-hydro-servo-elastic simulations of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.

You will be working on the design and analysis of mooring systems across all development phases, from conceptual design to detailed design and final certification.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Carrying out integrated loads analysis as part of the design development and verification
  • Post-processing of data from simulations • Working closely with structural and installation engineers
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of scale model wave tank tests

Your profile
Mooring Engineer:
You have graduated with a MSc degree in offshore engineering or relevant discipline. You have experience with modelling and analysing moored floating structures.
Senior Mooring Engineer: You have several years of experience working with the design, modelling and analysis of moored floating structures. Experience within the floating offshore wind industry is an asset, as well as experience with riser and umbilical design and analysis.

Relevant experience for both positions:
Experience in carrying out integrated load analysis using software such as OrcaFlex, HAWC2, FAST, SIMO-Riflex, etc. and comprehensive data post-processing is a distinct advantage.

Experience in developing tools in MATLAB and Python for supporting load calculation and analysis processes.

Experience with wind turbine and offshore design standards as well as wind turbine or project certification would be an asset.

We expect you to approach your work with enthusiasm and to be self-driven, passionate, committed, and pro-actively solution oriented. It is natural for you to take on responsibility, and you are confident in the role of ensuring quality in large and complex projects. You perform well in the dynamic environment of a start-up organization.
