Middle Office HQ - Global Middle Office and Prime Service

We require an experienced new team member for our Middle Office team based in our HQ in Copenhagen. The below description relates to the above role:

We require a candidate with a detailed knowledge of Saxo’s products (FX, Equity, Bond, CFD and Derivatives) able to act as a facilitator between the Front and Back offices.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Cash Management and experience supporting a Treasury or Financing function.

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Being an effective point of Escalation for our stakeholders, providing the link and knowledge so issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Assessing the risk of the tasks as they come to the team and prioritising and escalating accordingly.
  • Effective/ Regular communication with stakeholders to streamline processes and share these with the team so they become best practice.
  • Taking responsibility for ad-hoc admin duties and small projects as instructed by the Team Lead and Head Middle Office.
  • Carrying out any further tasks for which the qualifications and experience of a middle office team member are suited as directed by the stakeholders and clients of Saxo Bank AS.
  • Developing and maintaining business documentation
  • Working with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver on ad-hoc projects as defined by Team Lead and Head of Middle office.

  • Being flexible to change as the team matures reacting in the best interests of the team and Saxo Bank A/S

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Min. 3 years of financial industry experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Cash managements and experience supporting a Treasury/Financing function (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of financial products offered by Saxo - FX, Equities, Bonds, CFDs, Cash and Derivatives (preferred)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial markets.
  • Experience of Middle Office functions.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer and stakeholder service.
  • Positive attitude towards clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to use own initiative effectively, when appropriate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and perform comfortably in high-stress environments, consistently achieving targets.
  • Efficient team player with ability to work on your own when appropriate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong personal motivation and desire to succeed.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to own professional development.
  • Good credit history and a clean criminal record.
  • Eligibility to work in Denmark.
  • Satisfactory completion of Saxo Bank AS’s pre-employment checks.
  • Project experience (Desirable)
  • Degree in business, finance, accounting or economics (Desirable).
