The position
Your main task will be to improve and maintain mechanistic models of key production processes and support decision-making in improvement/optimization projects. As well as collaboration with specialists, production support, and other stakeholders to combine your modelling skills with their process understanding. More than just a job, this is an opportunity for you to apply your academic knowledge and develop your skills in real-world settings, working for a global company.

Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master’s with at least one-to-two semesters left before your MSc thesis within the field of Chemical, Process Engineering, or similar at a Danish university.

  • Hands-on experience with mechanistic modelling. We will provide training in the specific software we are using.
  • Enjoy solving complex problems applying a systems approach to manage complexity and arriving at a feasible applicable solution

Experience with PRO/II, Dynsim, OSIsoft PI, Phyton, or SQL, will be an advantage. At Novo Nordisk, we use our skills, dedication, and ambition to help people with diabetes and change their lives. By working with us you will have the opportunity to do the same in a global business environment.

About the department
Join us in the "PP BIO" team, a dynamic and diverse group of 9 full-time employees and 6 students. We aim to be a melting pot for new ideas, by mixing employees with different educations, levels of experience, and cultural backgrounds.
