Do you want to join the team developing and discovering new ways to improve the next generation of loudspeakers or car sound systems in one of the world’s most famous loudspeaker manufacturers?

Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for two new Mechanical Engineers to work at our HQ in Skanderborg.

About the job
As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will become a member of the Automotive development team. We ensure optimal solutions for new speaker units and sound systems. Our role is to create unique products and awesome experiences for our customers (car manufacturers) and end-users (People driving the cars).

We are looking to fill two open positions:

One in Speaker development for existing manufacturing setup together with support to the ongoing production. This includes product/process optimization, improve quality and ECR/PTA support.

One in Speaker development for many new exiting car models as well as support to capacity expansion on existing speakers in production. Look for new parts/suppliers to optimize production, improve quality and shorten lead time.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Handle Engineering Change Requests on existing products
  • Participate in conceptual work on prototype basis
  • Give input to the technology roadmap process
  • Participate in development projects

About the department
We’re a team of 10 dedicated colleagues working with each our individual area of expertise as well as helping each other wherever needed. We are very proud of our products and we love to find new and better ways to secure authentic sound in cars. The culture in our team is built on cooperation and development - of our products and ourselves.

About you
You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have worked with Catia specifically. You have material knowledge for iron, aluminium and various plastic types such as PP, ABS etc.

Preferably, you have processing knowledge and experience for molding, punching and pressing.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Understanding of tolerances and how they need to be accounted for
  • Experience with process- and quality control (we are IATF certified as well as ISO14001)
  • An interest in China and willing to travel
  • An open mind and an eagerness to learn and develop
  • Experience in other mechanical constructions
  • Calm and firm communication skills
  • A Controlled, considered and concise mindset

English is our main company language, so you’ll need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking it too.
