Do you want to kickstart your career and work with mechanical aspects of offshore wind turbines?

Join us and become Intern in Mechanical & Structural where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. You’ll be assisting the component experts in the team with both failure mode analysis and mechanical modifications of the existing wind turbines. The department is responsible for the mechanical integrity of our fleet of over 800 wind turbines in operation. The team consists of component experts working with the mechanical components of the wind turbines. The team ensures the highest yield from the wind turbines at the lowest cost by optimising maintenance programmes and ensuring low failure rates by means of component-specific projects.

Your key tasks may include

  • assist in failure root cause analysis investigation projects on mechanical components
  • assist in data evaluation and corrective action implementation
  • drive technical case handling of technical issues
  • drive development of mechanical modifications to the wind turbines
  • assist in optimising the maintenance schedule.

Your competences include that you

  • are currently studying mechanical engineering at a Danish university (BSc level)
  • are interested in working with and learning more about offshore wind power
  • have technical know-how and a good foundation in mechanical theory
  • have a positive attitude, a strong drive and are eager to learn
  • speak and write English fluently.
