Mechanical Engineer- Unpaid Internship
Upteko is a young company located in Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus specialising in development of innovative drone systems for the maritime and energy industry.
Currently, we have several ongoing and upcoming projects in our pipeline, where we have partnered with a multitude of global organisations. You will be joining an internationally diverse team dedicated and motivated to succeed in a rapidly growing industry.
We are searching for a Robotics Engineer Intern who would assist in the following:
- Sensor testing/integration
- Building drones
- Simulation of drone systems
- Programming tasks (Python/C++)
- Computer vision
- CAD design
- Field tests
- Documentation of software/work
About you:
We are looking for a flexible and open-minded team player. We prefer students from any backgrounds (with at least a Bachelor’s degree) in Robotics, Electronics, Software Development or similar.
In terms of experience, it is required of you to have basic knowledge about drone systems and/or mechanics design and/or programming as well as ROS. Additionally, experience in GPS/navigation, laser sensors and simulation is valued but not required.
We expect you to be fluent in professional English.Fluency in Danish is not mandatory but it can be a plus.

We are looking for candidates who can join our teams for 3-6 months in Odense or Skanderborg.
