Would you like to take up the challenge to head our department of commissioning enginers and supervisors?
Join us and become manager of the commissioning department which is responsible for an efficient commissioning of wind turbines on our projects. You are expected develop new ways of working to meet the high standards in regards to quality and reduced commissioning times. We are working in a global organisation and you will be responsible for the consolidation of corporate initiatives into the team.
The department is part of Wind Power which has 2200 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe, and we are expanding with international activities in the US and Asia-Pacific.
You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
Your key tasks will be to
- provide leadership of our Commissioning Managers and Supervisors
- support our global strategy
- provide efficient stakeholder management
- competence development of the team in order to meet new requirements going from regional to global organisation.
In addition, you are also expected to deliver sound analysis of the commissioning performance across our wind farms. Through your strong communication skills and proactive approach to challenges/opportunities, you will consolidate initiatives into team as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
- have experience in people management
- hold a bachelor or master's degree in engineering or similar
- have experience with commissioning, preferable within wind turbine technology
- have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
- speak and write English fluently
- thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders.
The Commissioning team is working at seveal production sites, so experience in remote management is an advantage.
