We are looking for a new manager for our Maintenance Documentation department in the Service Business Unit.

You will be responsible for 3 global teams with a total of 40 white collar employees currently located in Denmark, Spain, Germany, UK and US. This means that you will have 3 team leads in direct reference.

The department is responsible for development and distribution of both preventive and corrective maintenance documentation. The documentation is used by technicians in the field as well as our end-customers.

If you are an experienced manager with knowledge of technical or even maintenance documentation as well as understanding of publishing and distribution systems, this might be just the right challenge for you.

How to contribute to our vision
As head of Maintenance Documentation, you will be working with stakeholders across the 3 business units: Onshore, Offshore and Service. You will take over a department of experienced employees, whose main tasks are to develop maintenance documentation for new products and ensure that documentation for our legacy fleets is updated.  

You will be supporting the team leads in the department prioritizing day-to-day deliverables and at the same time ensuring focus on the documentation strategy and processes taking us to the next level. It is expected that you participate actively in the further development of the organization, strategy and overall processes within the department.

You will be stepping in to a very dynamic organization, which means that we are looking for a person that thrives with changes. As head of Maintenance Documentation, you will be expected to contribute and lead the necessary changes to adjust to the company’s needs.

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

You are an experienced manager of managers with great leadership skills – also when it comes to management at a distance. English at negotiation level is an absolute requirement. As a person you thrive in a big, dynamic organization and understand the importance of stakeholder management and navigating in a political environment.

You are a strong leader, preferably with experience from a larger company with a matrix organization. As a person you are in balance, behave with authority and it comes natural to you to act as a role model. You have a strong focus on motivating people and understand how to balance management and leadership.

You have experience with change management and will be able to lead the department during the coming changes. This requires a person with strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with employees with various educational backgrounds. The key word here is respect for the individual.

It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge about maintenance documentation and how to comply with the Machinery Directive, as well as experience with digitalization and distribution of information. It is important to have focus both on operational deliverables as well as strategic initiatives within the documentation area.
