At GN Audio in Ballerup, we have cross-functional hardware engineering and product concepting teams. We are dedicated to developing and designing state-of-the-art Jabra headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio solutions that make life sound better.

Join our global hardware engineering team…

… and take responsibility for leading a development team through all hardware-related aspects of development projects around our Bluetooth, DECT and USB platforms, power management including batteries and advanced sensor technologies. As a hardware development team manager, you and your team may be involved in all stages from concept to finished product.

You bring a solid background to this position including:

• Day to day team management and resource balancing to support projects
• Identifying and hiring engineering professionals, then making them successful within Jabra
• Supporting your team to drive projects to completion on time
• Providing technical leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Ensuring the quality of work produced by ensuring standards and processes are followed
• Clearly communicating technical issues and resource constraints to senior management
• Interfacing with contract manufacturing partners and other outside vendors
• Ensuring right competencies and people growth for your team

Collaborate with our cross-functional concept design team  
Whilst driving your team through the development phase of projects, part of your team will support our Concept Design phase working in a group comprised of more than 10 individuals from varying disciplines. Together, they work on concept exploration for headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio products, all representing exciting challenges due to size constraints and need for mobility.

Team manager with solid knowledge of product development
With your proactive and structured mindset, you enjoy working with a team creating new products while balancing an environment that provides time to explore and try out new opportunities and concepts while still ensuring timely project deliverables. You are highly self-motivated and strive to ensure the success of your team deliverables all the way through from idea to production. You are collaborative and enjoy communicating with your team, leaders, and stakeholders in an intercultural environment, ensuring that everyone is well-informed on current and future projects challenges.

You bring:

• B.Sc. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience leading hardware engineering teams
• Strong ethic of owning the result, and leading the team to achieve goals
• Passion for improving design processes, people and products
• Solid experience with the flow of product development from related industries
• Experience with working in a global organisation
• Excellent communication skills in English. Danish is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
