Join us and become Management Consultant in our Technology & Application Portfolio Office where you’ll work with optimisation of our IT portfolio, identifying how best to digitalise and simplify our IT landscape. We’re responsible for improving the overall IT effectiveness by aligning the technology and application portfolio with business priorities and by simplifying the application landscape, e.g. to avoid redundant applications and overspending on license costs.

Your key tasks will be to

  • identify initiatives to rationalise and optimise our current technology and application portfolio by recommending where to simplify our assets and where to invest in digital transformation 
  • define methods and metrics to assess an application’s business value, technical value, cost and risk as well as its overall fit with the application portfolio
  • oversee and optimise our application portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders, both in management and specialist positions
  • plan, coordinate and run initiatives and tasks in cooperation with key stakeholders in the IT and business areas
  • drive, publish, communicate and govern technology standards and approved technologies across the organisation.

 
You’ll support other IT units in developing decision papers to identify actions that ensure a modern application landscape, and you’ll be involved in developing decision papers for management teams.
 
Your competences include that you

  • have substantial experience working as a management consultant, IT consultant, IT architect or similar, where you have driven initiatives overseeing and optimising applications on a portfolio level, assessing their technological fit and business value while challenging IT and business colleagues in obtaining the right applications
  • are a technology enthusiast with experience in the domain of technology and application optimisation 
  • have solid experience in identifying optimisation opportunities across an organisation by standardising across platforms, increasing efficiency and reducing complexity 
  • have an analytical mindset with a strong commercial and financial understanding and are used to analysing complex data and developing different views/scenarios for decision-making, preferably in a global setting
  • have strong communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written
  • are a strong team player who want to pursue opportunities to improve our application landscape in a global organisation.
