Haldor Topsoe A/S is the world leader in catalysis, based in Denmark and with production and sales Worldwide. Our catalysts and engineering designs are the pivot of the global supply of food and fuels. 50% of all fertilizers in the World are produced with Topsoe catalysts, and Topsoe catalysts enables fuel production with minimum energy consumption and pollution. The Frederikssund Catalyst Production site, as part of the Global Supply Unit (GSU), is currently seeking a Logistics Manager capable of handling the operations necessary to ship our products world wide.

As Logistics Manager with Topsoe,
Your responsibilities will include

  • Management and development of approximately 40 employees in the Logistics Department
  • Development and execution of strategies and operational excellence for raw material and final product movements, and depot (clothing, PPE, spare parts) areas
  • Operation of both internal and external warehouse facilities
  • Budget responsibility for Logistics Department
  • Participation in the site’s Management team, including strategy development and execution, and site performance evaluations
  • Coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including Supply Chain management, Planning, Production operations, etc.

You will

  • Ensure that operations take place in a safe and environmentally friendly environment
  • Ensure that regulatory requirements are met regarding safe shipping of our products globally
  • Effectively implement and execute SAP processes in accordance with established and required procedures
  • Validate processes through internal and external audits with world class accuracy
  • Ensure collaboration across the organization (Supply Chain Management, Production units, Maintenance, Finance, etc.) to obtain optimal solutions
  • Be a hands on manager, bridging between technicians supporting the daily operations, managers within the site, and stakeholders

You are

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Danish
  • Enjoying working in a multicultural team environment
  • Working with system details and strategic perspective at same ease
  • An experienced leader with SAP, ISO and LEAN implementation and processes
  • Self-driven and a good collaborator

Qualifications

  • Relevant education within e.g.: warehouse management, engineering or technology
  • Experienced manager of leaders
