How to contribute to our vision
The position supports the development of the roadmap for loads and controls related products by identifying and qualifying ideas and proposals from internal and external partners. There will also be direct activities with calculating loads based on aeroelastic models for different wind turbine types, development and tuning of control algorithms to optimize and simulate performance and developing updates in load cases to evaluate performance of new features and technologies.
In short, we want colleagues who can bring forth ideas and enjoy working in a team to test them. Some ideas will fail, and some will turn out to be relevant to implement and you will be involved in it all the way.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for a creative mindset combined with interest in developing solutions hands-on. You need to be curious, explorative and willing to put in the hard work to realizing the ideas. We always work in teams that go across different organizations, countries and cultures and we are looking for colleagues who can build bridges to both external as well as internal partners.
On the professional side we are looking for engineers with a strong mathematical back ground - preferably coming from a loads and/or control position. You could have a background from electrical, civil or mechanical engineering. You do not need to cover all domains, but you should be interested in learning and developing.
In return of your commitment we offer you…
