Linux Software Developer

Linux is a cornerstone in building next-generation RTX wireless audio access points. The BSP (Board Support Package) team is responsible for the full life cycle management of RTX Linux platforms. The BSP team delivers a Linux application development SDK to our product teams.
As a Linux software developer in our BSP and DevOps team you will be developing code, test cases for BSP features (kernel space or userspace). You will take responsibility for integration tasks.
Depending on qualifications you may from time to time also be responsible for software development tasks on RTX proprietary BSP’s. Likewise, if you have qualifications within DevOps you may get tasks in this area.
Your tasks include:
- Linux BSP creation and board bring up pulling changes directly from Linux kernel repositories.
- Code, Test development and system integration.
- Supporting users of the BSP in RTX product and product platform teams.
- Troubleshooting / Bug fixing.
Who are you?
You embrace teamwork but can work independently. We expect you are flexible and show high responsibility for own tasks. You must be methodical in the approach for problem solving and must have focus on quality of delivered results.
- In depth experience with C/C++.
- Embedded development experience in Linux is required, other embedded RTOS experience is a plus.
- Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or related experience.
