Would you like to be part of shaping the future of how we do diagnostics across current and future wind turbine technologies? 
 
Join us and become WTG Diagnostics Specialist in our Fleet Diagnostics team where you’ll participate in the whole value chain of WTG diagnostics covering failure analysis, DMAIC projects, condition monitoring models, software improvements and analytical tools. The Fleet Diagnostics department is part of Operations Technology in our Offshore business unit. 
 
As WTG Diagnostics Specialist in Fleet Diagnostics, you’ll be driving the WTG diagnostics capabilities for Offshore Operations and ensuring the current leading skillset into new turbine technology we onboard. In addition to the Fleet Diagnostics team, you’ll work closely with our sites, control centre, engineering departments and advanced analytics team. 
 
Your key tasks will be to 

  • drive the diagnostics capabilities on existing and new WTG platforms in existing and new markets 
  • work closely with our WTG platform leads on how we can optimise our operations based on data, failure history and practical experience with the turbine controls 
  • build close ties to our sites and hubs to support their optimisation on performance based on diagnostics insights and tools 
  • in connection with more complex problems, drive the ability to do deep-dive into diagnostics analytics, drawing on your insights into WTG operations, design and control 
  • support the development of our data logic and diagnostics tools.  

Your competences include that you: 

  • have a strong practical WTG understanding, including of electrical and mechanical systems and preferably SCADA systems 
  • have hands-on experience with WTG troubleshooting on offshore WTG technology  
  • have substantial experience with WTG root cause analyses based on turbine data  
  • have solid experience with data analyses and knowledge about condition-based modelling and predictive maintenance 
  • have solid knowledge about remote operations of WTGs and WTG software 
  • preferably, have some project management experience and are comfortable presenting technical conclusions to management.  

Moreover, you’re driven by challenging status quo and gain motivation by following things through to full implementation and usage at our sites to support them in our continues improvement journey. You speak and write English fluently (and preferably Danish as well) and have good communication and people skills. Furthermore, you have a positive and proactive attitude.
