Do you want to use your technical insight to help our clients? Do design of facilities, process simulations and debottlenecking studies appeal to you? Are you interested in working as a consulting lead engineer and provide excellent solutions to our clients? Then this might be the right job for you.

Lead process engineer in multidisciplinary projects
As a lead process engineer you will be responsible for handling common process design tasks on multidisciplinary projects and studies. The variety in your tasks is high and you will solve challenges within offshore oil and gas processing and transfer. The projects you will be working on will vary from detail design to feasibility, concept or FEED studies, as well as specialist tasks to support all kinds of other projects. We have a high focus on knowledge sharing and competence development in Ramboll. Therefore, you will be a valued sparring partner across disciplines with technical insight and a good overview of projects and tasks to ensure design consistency.

Quality-conscious, proactive and result oriented
You have a good overview and can keep several “balls in the air” while being very focused on quality and deadlines.  When working on concept studies you maintain a good overview and think “out of the box” and when working on studies or detail design you are able to go into great detail. Further, you use your proactive skills to deliver on our projects. With your flexible mind-set you gradually take on new process related tasks and responsibilities in projects and you can work within different oil and gas areas. Finally, it is crucial that you are an excellent team player who is appreciated by colleagues as well as clients, with the ability to communicate clearly in a positive manner.

To succeed in the role, you need the following competences:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical/process Engineering
  • Min. 15 years of experience within the offshore oil and gas industry
  • Previous experience as process engineer on multidisciplinary projects with similar tasks
  • Brownfield modification experience
  • Familiar with conceptual and study work
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken. Danish or other Scandinavian language are an advantage

Your new colleagues
In the process department we are responsible for conceptual as well as detail engineering for the process discipline in primarily brownfield projects. We have developed our own calculation tools as well as extensive technical guidelines and we work in tight collaboration with other disciplines. You will be part of a team consisting of 10 other senior process engineers and two technical assistants.
