Lead Business Developer / Lead Project Developer to develop thermal heat and power business

Do you want to participate in business development and execution of the strategic goals for Denmark’s largest thermal power and heat producer? 
 
Join us and become Lead Project Developer / Lead Business Developer in Portfolio Optimisation & Development where you’ll be able to accelerate the green development of the future power and heat markets. You’ll work in a team responsible for building and executing the strategy of the group’s combined heat and power (CHP) plants. Further, the team heads development projects creating a green and sustainable energy sector by, e.g., identifying and maturing new green energy technologies and handles acquisitions and divestments of assets and companies (M&A) related to our company’s CHP business. 
 
Your key tasks will be to 

  • act as project director on own development projects 
  • build and execute the group strategy for the CHP business 
  • participate in and potentially lead M&A activities  
  • lead technical, strategic and quantitative analyses incl. business cases.  

Depending on your experience, you’ll work as project manager or assist with the development and execution of the strategy for the company’s combined heat and power plants, including identifying new potential businesses. You’ll also be involved in M&A where you’ll work with e.g. target screening, due diligence, negotiations and preparing decision material.  
 
Your competences include that you 

  • have a master’s degree in engineering or economics/business administration 
  • have experience with project management as a consultant, business developer or similar, preferably within the energy sector 
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks  
  • speak and write English fluently 
  • are analytical and good at problem solving.  

It’s important that you thrive with responsibility and are ready to independently solve your tasks in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
