You will join an engineering team of experienced and highly skilled engineers and will work from our headquarters in Esbjerg or from our Ballerup office (your choice).

Influencing the reliability of green energy
By connecting every turbine in the wind farm to the onshore grid, our offshore substations play an essential part in powering homes with green electricity. We take our responsibility seriously and you will help us provide high-reliability solutions on time and in the right quality.

You will be part of the value chain, interfacing with multiple disciplines and working on technical solutions ranging from project development to supporting design and development execution throughout all phases of the projects.
As Layout Engineer in our mechanical engineering team you key duties will include:

  • Managing the overall project engineering scope for 3D-modelling and layout of offshore substations, such as equipment spacing, cable tray-, pipe- and duct routing
  • Multi-discipline coordination of interfaces between project stakeholders
  • Involvement in our FEED and tender phase where we develop new layout concepts and bid for new projects
  • Assisting the team with system design of mechanical systems such as, diesel transfer, generator, water systems, cranes and pollution prevention system
  • Structural survey, attending factory tests, site tests and handover of projects to client
  • Development, optimisation and standardisation of technical solutions

Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar. Knowledge in 3D-modellign and experience in offshore substations or in offshore wind in general is preferred. What we appreciate the most is your motivation to work with green energy and to find solutions no matter what it takes. Besides, you believe that success is only achieved through dedicated teamwork.
We expect you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
