Junior Electrical and Electronics engineer

Description/responsibilities:
Owned by the large French automotive supplier Faurecia, Amminex Emissions Technology is a Danish based clean tech company with a new and unique technology and solution for automotive emissions control. The technology, the Ammonia Storage and Delivery System (ASDS) dramatically reduce the amount of NOx released by diesel cars and trucks with SCR catalysts, which is a focus area for the automotive industry today. The heart of the technology is based on the patented material AdAmmine, which can store Ammonia safely at very high density and release it again in gaseous form.

Amminex is growing fast, we are now looking for a Junior Electrical and Electronics engineer. The job is based at the corporate headquarters in Søborg, Denmark - close to Copenhagen city.

Responsible of electrical and electronics requirements your main missions of the role are to:

• Work on a project through all its stages: from the initial brief for a concept; through the design and development stage; to the testing of one or more prototypes; and through to final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system.
• Gain incites and take responsibility of Amminex EE core components
• Development of electronics for an ammonia storage and dosing system
• Ensure the intimacy with the suppliers, request component samples, validate its quality matching Amminex standards
• Drawing of schematics, routing of wires harnesses and specification of BOM

Required skills:
The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Electrical engineer or mechatronics
• Experience from automotive OEM or Tier1 supplier while working with E/E development
• Fluent in English. Danish, German or French an advantage
• Able to work on both individual and self-assigned tasks
• Motivated to work with developing products that requires supporting QA processes
• Experience with electrical circuit design and schematic drawings
• Experience with design of automotive wire harnesses, connector housings and protection
• Knowledge of automotive standards (IS06722, APQP, IS026262)
