Junior Device Data Engineer
As a Junior Device Data Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding how communication protocols connect to industrial devices and extract the data contained in them. You will learn how to think in a structured way when processing data, become an Excel expert and make sure our device data is always of the highest quality. Our team of young passionate engineers with a background in automation and electronics will support you with any problem or issue along the process, and give you lots of practical insights into the world of industrial communication.
You will work with different industrial devices, such as VFDs, Circuit Breakers, etc. and multiple communication protocols, like Modbus, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, etc. You are expected to work 12-18 hours per week. The exact days will be structured around your studies. Who are you?

A person who likes challenges, ambitious goals, is structured, detail-oriented and likes digging through technical manuals to find the right answer.

Someone who understands the difference between bits and bytes and loves to get more responsibility as one learns and grows.

You might be in your first or second year of studies as an Engineer in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or other similar studies.
Training sessions
There will be two intro/training sessions of 8 hours each. These are on October 6th and 7th 2021, and you need to be able to attend both days in full. You will be paid DKK 2,000 in total for participation in these sessions, after which we will discuss a permanent student job with each student individually.
