Junior Data Analyst - Student position

Are you our new Junior Data Analyst? (Student position)

We are currently looking for a Junior Data Analyst (student position), who can take our cross-systems integration and data analysis to the next level. A successful candidate will combine systems and database understanding with statistical knowledge, and will be eager to translate large volumes of data into applicable solutions supporting core projects to internal and external stakeholders. From day one you will be presented with project responsibilities and interaction with key stakeholders in our aftersales organization for two-stroke engines

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis and model building based on Microsoft SQL Server databases, Tabular models, OLAP cubes, Excel, etc.
• Automation, support and improvement of existing reports and data models
• Cross-systems integration of data flows and extracts
• Data mining and data cleansing from external and internal sources
• Translate business demands into specific IT deliverables
• Ad hoc analytics performed in close collaboration with colleagues across MAN PrimeServ

Requirements:

• You have knowledge of SQL language and relational databases in general
• You have experience with data visualization: Excel charts, Tableau, PowerBI or similar (DAX/MDX)
• You are comfortable with Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas) and possibly PowerPivot
• You have some programming experience: preferably Python or R
• You are in the final year of your Bachelor and you are about to start your Master’s Degree
• You are expected to work approx. 15 hours per week
