On behalf of our client Printix, we are looking for a passionate Java developer who has a great interest in being part of a unique growth journey.

Printix in Herlev develops a unique SaaS based Cloud Print Management Platform with lots of interesting features. Using this platform, companies can eliminate print servers and the management of print infrastructure is moved to the cloud. Printix have come a long way going global, they grew 450% in 2019 and expands rapidly every day.

Your key responsibilities
You are involved in the entire development process from defining the architecture in cooperation with the team, coding the solution or parts of it, bug fixing, creating unit tests and other automated tests and deploying the improvements production. You will work with a highly skilled and experienced team of eight backend and frontend engineers.

Printix backend runs on Linux on Azure and is developed in Java using and the Spring Boot framework. The architecture is a Microservice architecture using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Cassandra, MongoDB etc.

Examples of tasks could be development of business logic, integration to Office 365/Azure AD, analyzing slice and delivering data to the user Dashboard or analytics module, development of a billing service, fix newly exposed bottle necks that are a result of load increase, fix a Kubernetes or MongoDB issue etc.

In Printix they release code several times a day, so it's important that you are comfortable working in a continuous delivery environment.

Your professional skills

  • You have a Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or 3-5 years of experience as a Java developer
  • Preferably, you have some Spring Boot experience
  • You are skilled in Linux
  • You are comfortable running the code from A-Z
  • You are used to working in an environment with Continuous delivery and integrations
  • It is an advantage if you have worked with different Cloud set-ups and SaaS
  • It is equally an advantage if you have worked with some of the following: Azure, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ZooKeeper and MongoDB

It is important that you are good at organizing and prioritizing your work. It is an advantage if you are interested in creating and developing things and enjoy seeing the result of your work. You must also be eager to learn, and curious regarding new technologies.
