Ambu’s new global IT setup involves a partnership with an external outsourcing partner (NNIT) on IT infrastructure and support. The outsourcing partner is responsible for operation, maintenance and monitoring of the back-end infrastructure. NNIT will act as the Single Point of Contact for all users, handling user requests within their responsibility and passing on requests to Ambu IT supporters.

You will be part of a team of eight dedicated and experienced colleagues at our headquarters in Ballerup and a global team comprising approx. 40 employees. You will report directly to the Business IT Service Manager.

 
Responsibilities and tasks
Your main responsibility will be to provide IT support for users at our Headquarters in Ballerup, including walk-in-request from users as well as remote IT support for users in Ambu subsidiaries in Europe. Together with the IT Supporters in the IT Service Desk you will be responsible for handling tickets via our Service Desk System.

Furthermore, your primary areas of responsibilities will be to:

  • O365 administration
  • Skype room support
  • Installation of hardware (PCs, mobile phones, Cisco phone devices)
  • Print and printservers
  • Active directory administration
  • Procurement of IT equipment and software
  • Cooperate with vendors on a daily basis
  • Handle tasks concerning employee on/off boarding
  • Handle mobile subscriptions
  • Participate in projects
     

Solid IT support background and strong communication skills
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience within IT support and good knowledge of the IT landscape (Windows10, Active Directory administration, Microsoft O365, Teams meeting room, SCCM, Intune, print and print servers). You are probably currently holding an IT supporter position with 2-3 years of experience or more.

The role as IT supporter also requires: ITIL certification, experience in working with Service Desk System tasks, great IT technical skills, being service-minded, proactive and self-driven, being structured, good at prioritizing and able to follow-up, good understanding of users’ needs and excellent communication skills with users

As Ambu is a global company, it is important that you have a global mind-set and strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal. The position does not include travel activities.
