A wide range of technologies and methods
As an intern, you will be part of one of our test teams. Here you will receive testing tasks on equal terms with the other testers in the team. Your daily work will happen in a Scrum team where you will have a close collaboration with testers, developers and project managers.
Among others, you will work with:
- Test cases
- The testing of new functionality in our software
- Establishment and documentation of defects and retesting these
- Reporting and documenting the test
- Work with test environment and installation of new
- Builds and possibly also development of automated tests.
In your internship, you will get practical experience with some of these technologies:
- JIRA
- Selenium
- Scrum
- ISTQB
- CMMI5
- Test Design techniques
As a tester at Systematic, it is important that you are capable of combining thoroughness and attention to detail with technological insight. Today testing is an integrated part of our developing process and we are trendsetting within software testing. As a tester you will strengthen your professional competency as an developer and experience technically challenging tasks. You will achieve wide knowledge about tests witch will give you a general idea of the whole development phase.
The internship will last 5-6 months from August/September 2018. As a rule, the internship is a fulltime position, but we are of course flexible with regard to your study programme and requirements for ECTS points. The position is paid, as long as this does not contradict your educational institution’s regulations.
High technological capabilities
You are studying information and communications technology, computer science, software development, Cand.IT or the like, and you are eager about using your technological capabilities. You have a flair for and interest in analytic assignments. You must be capable of working both independently and as a part of a team. You are responsible and curious with the necessary drive and the necessary competencies to develop innovative software solutions. You are outgoing, have a positive approach towards your work, and are willing to take on new tasks and handle new challenges. You are proactive in your actions and are very committed.
