Become a part of our Data Analytics team at Kamstrup
Kamstrup is one of the world's leading manufacturers of smart system solutions for measuring energy and water consumption. As a Backend Software Developer Intern, you will become a part of the Data Analytics department, consisting of 20 colleagues who develop ambitious services for Kamstrup’s customers. You will be on equal footing with software engineers, physicists and UX designers. The department works based on a lean startup mentality, where specification and design are based on Google’s Design Sprint method. Our codes must be of a high quality and testability, as the time between idea and production is crucial.
At Kamstrup, we have full focus on the digital transformation. Our Data Analytics department works with the newest technologies and processes aimed at enabling both Danish and international utilities to make data-driven optimisation decisions in a simple and effective way. With Kamstrup’s intelligent metering solutions, utilities are able to reduce their energy loss and thereby protect the environment.
An internship with focus on development
During your internship, you will become a part of the daily operations in the Data Analytics department. You will be integrated in all phases of the projects, from idea to finished product. You will thereby become familiar with all facets of the job as a Software Developer Intern at Kamstrup, and you will complete an especially developing learning process, which you can apply in your future career.

The specific contents of your tasks will be planned according to your wishes and your competences.
Personality matters
We are looking for a student whose commitment and updated theoretical knowledge can contribute to the technological development in Kamstrup. You are studying Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar, and you are passionate about software development.
As a person, you are independent, but you also value teamwork and professional sparring with your colleagues. You are furthermore thorough and structured with your work tasks.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English.

Any details regarding the internship will be individually agreed upon. However, the internship is expected to run from February 2022 until the end of June 2022, depending on your academic schedule. Kamstrup is located in Stilling, between Aarhus and Skanderborg, and bus number 200 takes you right to the door.
