Internship in Quality Assurance at Diabetes Finish Products
We are looking for one intern, whom are ready to take on a variety of tasks and being part of smaller projects across our four departments.
Are you a Bachelor- or Master Student? Do you want practical experience with problem solving, continuous improvements, LEAN and quality management systems (QMS) within Novo Nordisk? Then you might be our new intern in Diabetes Finish Products, Quality Assurance (DFP QA).
About the department
DFP QA consists of four teams supporting four different areas within quality assurance. The main focuses of the four teams are; review of batch documentation and trends, handling deviations, release of produced batches, involvement in various projects and validation activities. As our new intern, you will spend your day with a team of dedicated colleagues in a great atmosphere at our facilities in Bagsværd.

The position
You will become well acquainted with some of our key activities and will be an integrated part of the department from day one. You will be involved in improvement projects where you will be introduced to different LEAN based tools and IT/BI solutions. These projects will allow you to create a positive change in Novo Nordisk based on your interests and competencies.
You will get a unique insight in how the production of medicines is progressing as well as how we continuously optimise and simplify our way of working. Novo Nordisk also has a large student community in which you can expand your network and meet similarly passionate interns and students.
This internship is an excellent position to begin a career within the pharmaceutical industry or in production in general. Our preferred setup is listed below:
- Internship period: 6 months
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Start Date: 15 January 2021
- Salary: 12,000 DKK per month (plus company pension contribution)
- A Danish full-time work permit is required.
Qualifications
We are looking for one intern, whom are ready to take on a variety of tasks and being part of smaller projects across our four departments. You may be studying within Health and Medical Sciences, IT, Engineering, Business or an entirely different field. Most importantly you share our passion for quality management and continuously improvements, and you are keen to acquire professional competencies and learn the tricks of the trade.
You are well organised, independent and have a good analytical sense. We expect you to have a certain flair for data analysis, IT systems and process optimisation. Experience with Excel, programming and/or BI tools such as Tableau & Alteryx will be an advantage. You possess a can-do-attitude and have no problem working in a busy environment. You dare to challenge us in our way of working and have a desire to take initiative as well as being responsible for your own tasks and learnings. You approach your tasks meticulously, and you are attracted by the opportunity to use your quality management skills in the ever changing and complex working environment.
The position requires proficiency in English (preferably also in Danish).
