As our Intern in High Level Software Development, you will become part of a large software department with professional and experienced developers. In the software department we work in Scrum teams, which you will become an integrated part of. We work closely together in all phases, and you can expect professional sparring and support in your work. The development environment in Kamstrup is in constant motion, and we value professional geekiness and ideas that can challenge our processes.

An internship with focus on development
As an Intern, you will be a full-blooded member of the team, and be on an equal footing with the other developers. The tasks will cover the entire development palette starting from analysis and design over implementation and testing to release, where it will be possible to test forces with both frontend, backend, service interfaces and communication protocols, as well as the database level. Automatic testing is a natural part of all tasks, and since you as a developer work closely with your colleagues, sparring and code review are an integral part of the process.

In the position, you will be working with a wide range of technologies, languages and tools, including:

• The MS .NET platform, C#, WPF, WCF, SQL Server
• Integration with 3rd party products via APIs, Kafka and Azure service bus
• The GitLab tool chain used for everything from code over continuous integration to automatic deployment

Personality matters
We are looking for a talented student who with his commitment and updated knowledge can contribute to the software development at Kamstrup. You are in the process of completing your education in software technology (ICT) or similar. At the same time, you have a great interest in high-level software and keep up with developments in the field. Experience with software development is an advantage - it can be, for example, in the form of study projects, work or the like.

As a person, you are quality-conscious and careful with your tasks and also work in a structured way. You also appreciate collaboration and professional sparring with your colleagues.
The job requires fluency in English and Danish.
